Sable Ridge is located along Collier Parkway in central Land O Lakes, one of Tampa‘s fastest-growing suburbs. The houses in this community were built from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s and range from 1,300 sq ft to over 3,600 sq ft. Along with the community being moderately priced, it has a low HOA fee and no CDD fees.
The main part of Sable Ridge is divided into seven sections: Bradenwood, Braesgate, Eagle Crest, Heron Point, The Landings, Osprey Cove, Sandpiper Sound, and Sandpiper Cove. The neighborhoods are located along either side of Collier Parkway. Heron Point surrounds Black Lake, a smaller lake with a bird sanctuary on the north end. All the houses in the small section of Bradenwood enjoy views of woods or ponds. Braesgate also has most of the homes with views of a pond or woods. The remaining sections have a couple of small ponds, but a majority of the homes back to another home.

There is also the Lakes, which is the only gated section. This neighborhood includes houses ranging from 2,300 sq ft up to 4,200 sq ft, with most situated around either a pond or on East Lake. East Lake is a 100-acre ski lake, and homes along the lake include a private boat dock option. There is a neighborhood dock where residents can fish or watch the sunset over East Lake. The neighborhood has a moderate HOA fee and no CDD fees.
The location is, without a doubt, one of the big selling points of the community. Residents can easily walk or bike to the nearby Land O Lakes Recreation Center, which offers a community pool, gymnasium, skate park, baseball fields, football & soccer fields, tennis courts, and more. The Land O Lakes Library is also located in the same area. There are three malls nearby with lots of restaurants in the area.
Land O Lakes includes many highly rated schools. Nearby schools include Lake Myrtle Elementary, Academy at the Lakes, Sanders Memorial Elementary, Pine View Elementary, Pine View Middle, and Land O Lakes High School.
