New Tampa is in northeast Hillsborough County. This area is located further away from central Tampa but was annexed into the City of Tampa in 1988. The area is made of up numerous master planned communities, a few of the larger communities are Tampa Palms, Pebble Creek, Hunters Green, West Meadows, and Live Oak Preserve.
